The bedroom is the most private and personal space in your home. And for everyone their bedroom is beautiful. It can be a small bedroom or medium-sized or of any size. But our bedroom is special for us. Either we keep it nearly empty barring furniture or utilize every inch of it by keeping many things. We definitely try to keep it as clean as possible and maintain good hygiene. Assuming all your bedrooms have windows, there will be a steady flow of wind and sunshine. For many, this is the only space at home that provides the most comfort. Also since the bedroom is a private place, we can pour out our inner talents like dancing, singing, or acting as our heart desires. Also, the bedroom is the place to relax for many and sleep for everyone as we all know that sleep is one of the most important things in our life.
Flowers
Flowers can brighten up any boring place or your mood. This simple thing can do wonders for your bedroom. The scent of the flowers will soothe your senses. It will change the entire look of your bedroom. Plain white flowers or roses against your colourful walls will look amazing. This is an easy, affordable, yet effective way to mix-up the spring vibes with your romantic space.
Subtle Colours
Your bedroom is not a discotheque. So, you should opt for light colours in blue, green, lavender, beige, and such shades. This is the place for you to relax, therefore use a restful palette of monochromatic tones, soothing, and calming tones. Use toned-down versions of your favourite colours in the bedroom.
Lighting and Bedding
Matching match lighting and bedding makes the room bloom. A simple, beautiful lamp at your bedside and lightweight plain-woven cotton cloth typically checked in white or a light colour that’s matching with your lamp shed enlivens the master bedroom. This combination will do wonders to keep the bedroom light and sophisticated.
Hanging wall-plants
Whenever we think about hanging decorative things, we can’t go beyond hanging wall items, but it’s time to be different. We don’t normally think of plants but it’s time to try something totally daring and unconventional. Having hanging plants in your bedrooms will definitely make your room relaxing and calm. Green is a very special colour to be added to the bedrooms for relaxing vibes. Choose a wall that needs more attention and hang some customized plants on it. Needless to mention you have to choose indoor plants and not any kind of plants.
Do not forget the ceiling
When you lie in bed, what is the first thing you see? Of course the ceiling. We don’t think about it at all. That is why we stare at a blank and bland area! Add a subtle pattern or soft colour. Paint the ceiling a slightly lighter version of the wall colour or at least do something with it. A nice colour, texture, and pattern, etc. will complete your bedroom decoration.
Antiques as Bedside Tables
This is an absolutely great idea. You see there are antiques whose shape and feature resemble a table for example your grandmother’s antique sewing machine. It can be used as a table. This is innovation at its best. It is actually not a table but a great piece of antique item that can be used as a table. This will surely give your bedroom a different and unique look.
Keep your bedroom simple
You need to keep your bedroom simple yet classy. Furnish your bedroom with only what you need. A bed, a bedside table or two, a dresser, and a chair are necessities. Anything else is clutter. If you have room, place a chest of drawers in the closet. Accessories should be kept to a minimum. Choose a beautiful piece of artwork, arrange some family photos, add flowers and candles, and leave it alone.
Every once in a while, it is important to pause and indulge in bedroom decorations that will be drenched in your creative ideas along with giving you spectacular home space.
